A course for the whole family to learn the basics of sailing in a dinghy.

Description

Get the whole family out on the water and discover the excitement of sailing together. Designed for both adults and children (big and small), this course combines the expertise of our experienced instructors in delivering youth and adult training to create a fun, supportive learning experience for everyone.

Whether you're complete beginners, looking to build your confidence, or trying to convince your family to start sailing. You'll learn the fundamentals of dinghy sailing as a family, developing essential skills while enjoying quality time together.

The course follows the RYA Adult Level 1 Syllabus.

Course Content

How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovery.

Adults will achieve their RYA Level 1 - Adult

Children will achieve their RYA Stage 1 - Youth

SHE SAILS - RYA DINGHY LEVEL 1 - Curious about sailing but not sure where to begin? This course is exclusive to women who would like to learn in a relaxed, supportive and confidence-building environment. No previous experience is needed - Just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. By the end of the course, you will have learned skills and confidence to sail a dinghy under supervision and continue your sailing journey.
