Club boats available to use, may be limited due to other ongoing courses.

Please arrive early to be ready for a start time of 10am

May be cancelled due to poor weather forecasting, final decisions made on Thursday.

RYA Dinghy Level 2 - Basic Skills certificate

Instructor to Student ratio

1 Safety Boat to 8 Sailors

  • Wetsuit boots/ old shoes

  • Your own boat
  • Wetsuit
  • Raincoat/Waterproofs
  • Sunglasses, Sun hat, Sunscreen, Water bottle
  • Warm hat, Extra layers

No previous experience is needed - Just enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new. By the end of the course, you will have learned skills and confidence to sail a dinghy under supervision and continue your sailing journey.
