Women's at the Helm - RYA Powerboat Level 2 - Take charge and power ahead. This practical course is for women who want to gain the skills and confidence to drive small powered craft such as RIB's, dories and sports boats safely and independently.
Description
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed to handle a powerboat at basic level and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.
