The Improver Camp builds on learning in the beginners camp, with the sailors aiming for their RYA stage 3 and State Racing of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme. These camps are an excellent opportunity to get out on the water and get a lot of sailing in.

Designed for sailors who want to build their racing skills and confidence, These weekends offer high-quality coaching focused on improving technique, tactics, and performance on the water. The Weekend is open to sailors from all clubs. - Take part in the full two-day programme, or drop in for a single day of top-quality coaching. If sailor needs to use one of our Clubs Optimists for a weekend, this can be arranged - please contact the club in advance. There will be a charge of £10 per day.

This one-day course runs from 9:30am to 6:00pm and covers the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC). The exam will take place from approximately 4:30pm, once the course training has finished. Please note, there is an additional exam fee of £76 payable directly to the RYA and is not included in this course fee.
