RYA VHF Marine Radio Course (SRC) | Classroom

This one day course covers the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC). It starts at 9:30am and finishes at 4:30pm. with the exam taking place once the course has finished. The cost of the exam is an additional cost of £70 payable to the RYA.

Description

This one day course (plus exam) covers the Short Range Certificate (SRC), which is the minimum qualification required by law for those using VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on board any British flagged vessel.  this includes both fixed and handheld equipment.

What you need to bring

Please bring with you:

  1. A Passport Sized Photo
  2. A notepad and pen
  3. Proof of Exam payment
  4. VHF Course Handbook
