Dinghy Instructor Course

A structured training programme designed to qualify individuals to teach dinghy sailing. This course is scheduled to take place: April 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th and 26th (excluding 23rd).

Description

The aim is to provide you with the necessary skills and techniques required to teach the RYA Syllabus within the National Sailing Scheme  Level 1 (Start Sailing), Level 2 (Basic Sailing), Level 3 (Better Sailing and Seamanship Skills) 

Pre-Course Preparation

There are a number of things we would like you to do in preparation for the course:

  • RYA National Sailing Scheme Instructor Handbook
  • National Sailing Scheme syllabus and Logbook
  • Youth Sailing Scheme syllabus and Logbook
  • Start Sailing
  • Advanced Sailing

Prerequisites

PRE-REQUISITE - CANDIDATE MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE PRE-ASSESSMENT COURSE:    

 

Minimum Age

16 years of age
